Next Week Top TV Show Premieres on Hulu Netflix Max

Hulu, Netflix, and Max are set to deliver highly anticipated premieres next week, with three major series poised to capture viewers’ attention across streaming platforms.

The sixth and final season of The Handmaid’s Tale leads the lineup on Hulu, bringing Elisabeth Moss’s portrayal of June Osborne to its conclusion after years of critical acclaim.

Based on Margaret Atwood’s novel, the dystopian drama has built a dedicated audience through its portrayal of the totalitarian regime of Gilead. Season 6 continues June’s fight for freedom and justice with escalating stakes, unresolved tensions, and shifting alliances that will determine Gilead’s fate.

According to the official synopsis, the final season “highlights the importance of hope, courage, solidarity, and resilience in the pursuit of justice and freedom.”

Netflix announced the return of Black Mirror for its seventh season on April 10, with creator Charlie Brooker promising a return to the anthology’s roots.

“You can expect a mix of genres and styles,” Brooker told Netflix’s Tudum during the streamer’s Geeked Week festival in September. “We’ve got six episodes this time, and two of them are basically feature-length. Some of them are deeply unpleasant, some are quite funny, and some are emotional.”

The new season maintains the show’s science fiction foundation while exploring different tonal directions. “There’s definitely some horrifying things that occur, but maybe not in an overt horror movie way. There’s definitely some disturbing content in it,” Brooker added.

Industry insiders point to the season’s sixth episode, “Eulogy,” as a potential standout. The installment follows a lonely man who uses an innovative system to step into photographic memories, leading him to re-examine a heartbreaking period in his life.

Emmy-winning comedy Hacks returns for its fourth season on Max on April 10, reuniting Jean Smart (Deborah Vance) and Hannah Einbinder (Ava) in their critically acclaimed roles.

The series chronicles the evolving professional relationship between legendary comedian Vance and her young writer as they navigate the unpredictable world of stand-up comedy and personal reinvention.

Following Season 3’s significant career shifts for both protagonists, the new season explores fresh challenges in their professional and personal lives while maintaining the show’s signature razor-sharp dialogue and industry satire.

The series continues to generate strong audience response, with viewers praising its writing and performances across social media platforms.
