After 2-Year Break Ginny & Georgia Returns to Netflix for Season 3

Netflix announced the return of Ginny & Georgia for its third season, premiering June 5.

The new season picks up immediately after Georgia Miller’s arrest on her wedding day. The mother-daughter drama continues with Georgia facing murder charges while wearing an ankle monitor, according to promotional materials released by the streaming platform.

Creator Sarah Lampert described the upcoming episodes as “our most ambitious and explosive season yet” in a Netflix promotional interview.

Brianne Howey, who stars as Georgia Miller, indicated the new season pushes her character to unprecedented limits. The family faces potential dissolution as Georgia confronts challenges she’s never experienced before.

Her children, Ginny and Austin, must navigate the aftermath of their mother’s legal troubles.

New showrunner Sarah Glinski promises evolving dynamics between Georgia and Ginny that will surprise longtime viewers. The season introduces new characters, shifting alliances, and higher stakes than previous installments.

“This season we blew up our world. That’s the best way to describe it,” Lampert told Netflix’s Tudum. “The characters were pushed to new places, and the actors delivered performances that shook me to my core.”

“The fans have been so patient, I cannot wait for them to see Season 3.”

Netflix will host a virtual watch party on June 3, two days before the season premiere. Actor and content creator Mari Takahashi will host the event, which includes trivia games, cast messages, and a Q&A session with Lampert.

Fans can register for the virtual event through Netflix’s official registration page.

The series has become one of Netflix’s global hits, drawing audiences with its complex portrayal of family dynamics and Georgia’s morally ambiguous choices. Season 3 promises to test these relationships under extreme pressure as legal consequences threaten everything the Miller family has built.
