9 Netflix Shows Returning and Premiering This Week

Netflix announced its weekly slate of new and returning series for June 15-21, adding nine shows across multiple genres and international markets.

The streaming platform continues its robust June programming push with three weeks of content releases already underway. This week’s additions span reality television, international dramas, and library acquisitions.

Kaulitz & Kaulitz returns for its second season on June 17. The German docuseries follows twin brothers Bill and Tom Kaulitz — lead vocalist and guitarist for pop rock band Tokio Hotel — as they navigate personal challenges and tour preparations.

ABC‘s political thriller Scandal joins Netflix’s library on June 17. All seven seasons of the Kerry Washington-led series will be available for streaming. The show originally premiered in 2012 and concluded its run in 2018.

America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders launches its second season June 18. The reality series documents the final audition rounds for the 2024-2025 squad before following selected candidates through training camp and their first performances.

The Mexican telenovela Rosario Tijeras returns for season 4 on June 18 after a six-year hiatus. Bárbara de Regil reprises her role as María del Rosario López Ramos in the revenge-driven drama. The series originally aired on Mexico’s TV Azteca from 2016 to 2019.

Somebody Feed Phil premieres its eighth season June 18. Creator Phil Rosenthal (Everybody Loves Raymond) travels to Amsterdam, Tbilisi, Sydney, Adelaide, Manila, Las Vegas, Guatemala, San Sebastian, and Boston for the food-focused travel series.

The Dutch reality series YOLANTHE debuts June 18. The show follows model, actress, and TV host Yolanthe Cabau as she relocates to Los Angeles and confronts personal challenges.

The Waterfront arrives June 19. Kevin Williamson (Dawson’s Creek) created the North Carolina-set drama about a family struggling to maintain their fishing business. The cast includes Holt McCallany, Maria Bello, Melissa Benoist (Supergirl), Jake Weary, and Topher Grace.

The Spanish drama Olympo premieres June 20. The series follows Amaia as she investigates dangerous practices at a high-performance sports center after a swimmer’s collapse.

The Great Indian Kapil Show returns for season 3 on June 21. Comedian Kapil Sharma hosts the sketch comedy series, which became India’s first Netflix original to trend globally for a full month.
