29 New Movies and Shows Now Streaming on Netflix

Netflix added 29 new movies and TV shows to its streaming library on June 1, setting the stage for what promises to be a busy month of original programming returns.

The streaming platform’s June slate includes new seasons of Ginny & Georgia, Tires, FUBAR, and Squid Game launching in the coming weeks.

Among Saturday’s additions, three titles standout for their appeal across different audiences — from horror fans to classic film enthusiasts to anime viewers.

## Horror Debut Makes Streaming Debut

Zach Cregger’s directorial debut Barbarian arrived on the platform following its 2022 theatrical release.

The horror film stars Georgina Campbell as Tess, a woman who discovers Keith (Bill Skarsgård, It) already occupying her Detroit Airbnb rental. Her decision to stay despite the unusual circumstances leads to the discovery of disturbing secrets hidden in the basement.

## Hitchcock Collection Expands

Netflix’s April announcement that several Alfred Hitchcock films would join the service in June delivered with The Birds leading the additions.

The 1963 horror thriller centers on unexplained bird attacks terrorizing a community. The film joins other Hitchcock classics including Rear Window, Vertigo, and Family Plot now streaming on the platform.
